The 26th of June 1988 will go down as the day a number of enthusiastic Chrysler Vehicle owners first met and formed the Chrysler Owners Club of Queensland.
On this day several people attended an informal barbecue at the Gannon residence at Greenbank QLD. The Club was officially formed when seven of those individuals present, officially became members paying the first membership contributions.
The official management committee was not elected until the meeting on Sunday 10th July 1988. This meeting being held at Meadowlands Park, only two kilometers from the present ClubRoom.
The Club continued in this form until august 1990. When the Club became an incorporated association known as, The Chrysler Owners Club of Queensland Inc.
The Chrysler Owners Club of Queensland Inc has remained in this form ever since. Evolving into the largest and arguably, the best Club for the Chrysler enthusiasts in Queensland.
